Couch Potato's Guide September 22-26.

10. NC State at Cincinnati Thursday 8:00 ESPN
A little Thursday Night Football never hurt anyone. I think it is an intriguing match up?  ACC-Big East, it just comes at the right time. Conference expansion is such a hot topic issue, and the ACC has once again raided the Big East, and Cincinnati looks to be a program that is currently shuffling, uhhh yeah they are actually in panic mode. As a Pitt fan, I feel bad leaving our Big East comrades, its like were cheating on them Sorry guys!!!  I feel this song is appropriate.

9. Steelers at Colts Sunday 8:20 NBC
Steelers v. Colts, should be a good game right?  It always is....oh thats right, Peyton isn't around.  Sucks to be a Colts fan right now.  They are nothing without him.  The Steelers beat up Seattle last week, big deal. They should beat the Colts up in this game as well.  The Colts have an interesting decision, though. Peyton may seriously be injured, or he is not going to be around forever.  So some Colts fans have already started the best campaign I have heard in a while,  "Suck for Luck"  A few teams are in the running, should be more exciting than the Super Bowl race,

8. Vanderbilt at South Carolina Saturday ESPN2 7:00
Really, this is must watch television? YES,  Vanderbilt is playing a relevant game!  They are 3-0!!!They are never 3-0.  This is like the Pirates playing a relevant game in June, it isn't a big deal to most teams, but to this team its huge! And of all the programs in the SEC, its hard to not root for them against the football factories in that league. And you might want to check out Marcus Lattimore from South Carolina. He is a BEAST. He has Adrian Petersen physical tools as a sophomore, he's worth the watch, and likely will lead a 30 point South Carolina win.

7. North Carolina at Georgia Tech Saturday 12:00 ESPN
This is a good Noon game. Why not?  Both teams have started 3-0, and are playing pretty well, and both are ranked. One team is going to move up to 4-0 and potentially play a factor in the ACC.  Georgia Tech runs the option to perfection, if you like that kind of football, this is the game for you.

6. Redskins at Cowboys Monday 8:30 ESPN
I'm not that big on the NFC East, but I guess some people are.  The Redskins are 2-0 and people are going nuts, relax guys its 2 games.  Tony Romo is all the sudden losing criticism after one win over the 49ers? Come on guys, look at the guys track record. Thats why this division is too much to tolerate.  Anything that happens, they make it newsworthy. I mean we are two weeks in, and ESPN is making too big of stories already, predictable. You don't even half to watch the game, ESPN will overhype this game as much as humanly possible.

5. Florida State at Clemson Saturday 3:30 ESPN
FSU is coming off an emotional loss to the hands of Oklahoma. They are still a really good team, and looks ready for primetime again.  Clemson is coming off an emotional win, and will likely be a disappointing team before October is over. The Tigers are just one of those heartbreaking teams. This should still be a good game, with a great atmosphere.  I think this is a big game for the ACC race. Definitely a good watch.

4. USC at Arizona State Saturday ESPN 10:15
I love the late night Football games. I'm usually not done watching football this point, and ESPN has been putting on some good Pac 12 games on.  I can't complain. USC is solid this year, Matt Barkley is a top notch QB prospect, and he is playing like one.  This is their first road test, and it will be a test. Arizona State is pretty good, and they have a pretty good quarterback themselves. Brock Osweiler is really good, and really tall. 6-8 to be exact!  Check this game out, if you have it in you to keep watching football at this point.

3. Arkansas at Alabama Saturday 3:30 CBS
Big Time SEC battle. Arkansas wants to prove they are right there with Alabama and LSU.  Thats a tall task, those teams are pretty good. But Arkansas can play. I'm interested to see how Alabama's offense is holding up, they haven't been really tested yet. This should be a big test. Alabama's defense is worth watching, they are really good. They have like 9 guys that can play in the NFL on this defense, yeah good luck.

2. LSU at West Virginia Saturday 8:00 ABC
Yeah huge game.  WVU is a potential SEC team, and this may be a good way to prove they belong. College Gameday will be there. The atmosphere in Morgantown will be outrageous.  Selling Beer in the stadium, yikes. LSU thinks they've seen some atmosphere in the SEC, they're in for a treat in Morgantown.  I mean is couch burning now a felony anywhere else?!  Either way, for the game itself, WVU has a good offense, and LSU has the best defense in the country.  Big tests for both teams.  Should be a good one.

1. Oklahoma State at Texas A&M Saturday 3:30 ABC
If we get stuck with the damn Ohio State-Colorado regional game over this, I will not be a happy camper.  This game is going to be really, really good. Both are top 10 teams, and both have a chance to take down mighty Oklahoma, and get into a championship situation.  For that to happen, this become a must win game for both teams.  Offensive fire power will be everywhere, and this will be an offensive show. I really, really want to see this game.  You should too.  Enjoy the weekend!
